Does The Delta Style Of 3D Printers Make A Difference?
To put it simply, yes. The most obvious difference, outside of physical design, between a Delta and a vast majority of all other 3D printer designs, is how the hot end moves. Second to that would be that the print bed on a delta style 3d printer does not move. The Cartesian style that many 3D Printers use (the hot end moving left to right and up and down while the print bed moves front to back) might very well be an easier method of designing a 3d printer, but it comes at the cost of the weight of all those moving objects. That weight, when moving and changing directions, can cause jerking which has to be dealt with to prevent issues with the final print.
